FAQ
Frequently Asked Questions about SeaWorld in Orlando
Sea of Shallows – A Closer Look at Marine Life
Right after entering, you’ll find yourself in the shallow sea waters zone, where you can meet:

Manta – The Ultimate Flying Coaster
This is one of those coasters that really impresses. You lie face down, suspended under the track – the feeling is amazing! When I first got on, I thought it would be strange, but it really gives you a sense of flight.
Before getting on the coaster, it’s worth checking out the Manta Aquarium, where more than 300 rays swim.

Stingray Lagoon
Here you can literally touch stingrays. I remember how my son was initially afraid, but after a while, he couldn’t stop petting these silky-smooth creatures.
Dolphin Cove & Dolphin Nursery
This is one of the largest interactive dolphin pools. During our last visit, one of the dolphins took a liking to my daughter and kept swimming toward her. Nearby is also a nursery for young dolphins, where you can see how these intelligent animals learn new tricks.

Dolphin Adventures – A High-Energy Show
A 20-minute spectacle that always delights the audience. The synchronization between dolphins and trainers is incredible. Advice from experience: if you don’t want to return to your hotel soaking wet, avoid the front rows. My brother-in-law didn’t listen to this advice and came out looking like he’d taken a bath!
Sea of Legends – Mythical Thrills and Deep-Sea Adventures
Step into Sea of Legends, where ancient myths and high-speed thrills crash together like waves in a storm. Here, you’ll find Journey to Atlantis – a ride that lulls you into a false sense of security before throwing you into chaos – and Kraken, a beast of a coaster that gives “holding on for dear life” a whole new meaning.
Journey to Atlantis – A Water Ride with a Twist
What seems like an innocent boat ride turns into a crazy descent. What surprised me was that when you think the attraction is ending… it starts all over again! Definitely one of my favorite water attractions in Orlando.

Kraken – The Legendary Floorless Coaster
The first ride without anything under your feet is unforgettable. A 153-foot drop at 65 mph, seven inversions, and diving underground – it really makes an impression! My friend, who’s afraid of heights, kept his eyes closed for the entire ride. What a shame!

Antarctica – A Frozen Expedition with Penguins
If you’re looking for something cool (literally), head to Antarctica, home to SeaWorld’s newest coaster, Penguin Trek.
Penguin Trek – A Family-Friendly Snowy Adventure
Opened in July 2024, this hybrid coaster and dark ride takes you on an Antarctic research expedition. It accelerates to 43 mph, has two launches, and several spectacular turns. After the ride, you enter the penguin habitat – my younger son could spend all day there watching these funny birds!

Sea of Delight – A Taste of the Mediterranean
This charming area feels like a coastal European village, complete with restaurants, shops, and classic attractions.
Sky Tower – A Panoramic View of Orlando
A slow, rotating observation tower rising 400 feet. The view of all of Orlando is spectacular. It’s worth doing this at the beginning of the day to plan your route through the park.
Sea Lion & Otter Show – A Comedy Favorite
Clyde and Seymour are true stars! Their comedy performance always draws bursts of laughter. And if you catch Tom the Mime before the show – you’ll be delighted. This guy can make you laugh to tears without saying a word.

Sea of Mystery – The Ocean’s Predators and High-Speed Coasters
This section of the park highlights the mysterious side of the ocean – from sharks to high-speed coasters.
Shark Encounter – Walk Through an Underwater Tunnel
A 60-foot acrylic tunnel where sharks swim literally above your head. When I walked through there with my 5-year-old daughter, she spent the entire way with her mouth wide open in amazement.

Infinity Falls – The World’s Tallest River Raft Drop
If you like getting wet, this is the attraction for you! The 40-foot drop is the highest such element in a water attraction in the world. While it’s impressive, thrill-seekers might also want to check out Volcano Bay for even more intense water slides. After the descent, we were soaked to the bone, but with a temperature of 95 degrees, it was actually pleasant!

Mako – Florida’s Tallest and Fastest Coaster
Named after the fastest shark, this hyper-coaster was my absolute number one. The feeling of weightlessness on a 200-foot drop is incredible. The first time, I screamed like a child. The second time too!

Sesame Street – Fun for the Little Ones
Perfect place for younger children. Our daughter loved:

Sea of Power – The Mightiest Creatures of the Ocean
This section celebrates the strength and beauty of marine animals.
Ice Breaker
This coaster has a unique element – a 93-foot, nearly vertical spike tilted at 100 degrees! On my first ride, I felt like I was about to fall out of my seat. Fortunately, the safety restraints worked perfectly.

Wild Arctic
A great escape from Florida’s heat. Inside, you can see belugas, walruses, and seals in a simulated Arctic environment. My wife, who’s a biologist, spent almost an hour there photographing every walrus.

The exhibit mimics the Arctic environment, giving guests a cool escape from Florida’s heat. While walking through, you can observe these majestic creatures up close and learn about their habitats, behaviors, and conservation efforts.
Pipeline – The World’s First Surf Coaster
Standing on your feet, you race at 60 mph through inverted waves. Special seats actually simulate the movement of a surfboard on waves. A unique attraction you won’t find anywhere else.

Orca Encounter – The Park’s Signature Show
A monumental show during which orcas perform powerful jumps and synchronized swimming. The “Splash Zone” really deserves its name – after our last visit, we had to buy new shirts at the souvenir shop because we were completely soaked!

9 Tips for Visiting SeaWorld In Orlando – Before You Go
1. Arrive Early
The first two hours after opening are golden time for the most popular attractions. Mako and Infinity Falls have the shortest lines then.
2. Dress for Water Attractions:
Bring a poncho or spare clothes – especially if you’re planning on Infinity Falls or seats in the front rows at shows.
3. Utilize Quick Queue
During peak season, it’s worth investing in a pass that lets you skip lines. We saved over 3 hours during our holiday visit thanks to it.
4. Hydrate & Use Sunscreen
Florida’s sun is merciless. After one visit without proper protection, my son looked like a lobster.
5. Check Showtimes in Advance
Plan your day around the shows you want to see. Some, like Orca Encounter, only take place 2-3 times a day.
6. Prioritize Popular Rides
Start with Mako, Kraken, or Ice Breaker – afternoon lines can get really long.
7. Use the SeaWorld App
It allows you to check waiting times, show schedules, and food options in real-time. It saved us a lot of time.
8. Sit Higher in the Show Stadiums
Unless you like being wet. The “Soak Zone” is no joke – you’ll come out drenched!
9. Take Advantage of All-Day Dining
If you plan to eat more than one meal in the park, it’s worth it. Our family of four saved almost $60. Consider combo tickets that include Aquatica if you’re planning a multi-day water park experience.
EXTRA TIP
If you live or run a business in Orlando (or in neighboring areas) we recommend our cleaning services: carpet cleaning, upholstery cleaning/sofa cleaning, and mattress cleaning.
